Womens soccer. A guide to coaching and training

I've had a passion for soccer from a very early age and my first book, "Women's Soccer - A Guide to Coaching and Training" was published in the UK in December 2010 and in the USA at the end of January 2011. It book represents the sum of my experiences in the game to date and I hope that it will prove to be a much needed resource for anyone working in women’s soccer today.

I am an “A” license qualified coach with over 15 years practical coaching and developmental experience. My coaching experience takes in all levels of the game, beginning as a grassroots volunteer in my home town of Chesterfield, before developing into a highly regarded youth coach on a national scale.

I have fulfilled many roles throughout my coaching career but most notably was head coach to the England U17 women's youth team from 1999 – 2006 and head of the FA’s national women’s player development center at Loughborough University from 2001 - 2006. I've also been privileged to work as a technical analyst, for the English FA at various women’s European and world championships as well as for FIFA during the 2008 U20 women’s world championships in Chile
